The Sun Valley Telemark Series, the nation’s longest continuously run telemark series, presents the 28th Annual Hawaiian Nationals Telemark Day held April 5th. This traditional end to the telemark series will hold four events on Bald Mountain throughout the day: the Smoky Mountain Outfitters Hawaiian National Duel GS, the popular Swany Tandem Telemark Challenge, the Columbia Telemark Parade, and the www.freeheellife.com Rail Jam. The Tandem Telemark Challenge involves teams of two completing a course on one pair of telemark skis. Participants of each event are encouraged to dress in Hawaiian inspired costumes. An after-party, held in the Warm Springs parking lot, will have a barbeque, giveaways, a charity raffle and music by DJ Wake.
Race day registration is available from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Warm Springs Lodge. Racing begins at 10:30 a.m.
